Hi Was wondering whether anyone could help. Bart my 4yr old budgie had an attack of mites last November on the side of his neck (looked red and itchy). We took him to the vet who gave him a 'one dose' ointment (inverectim?) and some Dermisol cream which we applied to his neck once a day for about a week. He seemed fine up until a week or so ago when I noticed that his poop is slightly different (not sure whether this could be do to overdosing on his cuttlefish?) and a couple a days ago I noticed that his neck looks a bit red again. He's been a bit quieter than usual up until this morning when he seems to have regained his ''chirp'. Is it possible that these symptons are related? He seems happy in himself and loves his mirror but tends to doze more frequently than usual (maybe because I am at home at the moment and tend to notice these things). Also do you think it would be Ok to use some of the dermisol cream used in November if redness persists? Advice appreciated

i would use something little more soothing such as savlon.
also get a spot on from the pet store and apply to the skin on the back of the neck
