Hello everyone, I live in Saudi Arabia and I’m struggling to find healthy seeds let alone pellets :/ I have been searching for pellets everywhere with no success, but I might have found a place that sells zupreem, my concern is that I remember reading that it has added (colors and sugar), but what if I can’t find any other brands of pellets, should I get them zupreem or keep them without pellets all together? I give them vegetables daily and fruits a few times a week, I also give them eggs every week or so, but I read that pellets are essential. your input would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think that pellets are essential. As long as your budgie get a varied diet with vegetables (they don't really need fruit) carrot, sweetcorn, basil, dill, mange tout, many others that I have not thought of.
Also exercise.
Budgies would not have access to pellets in the wild, they'd be eating seeding grasses.

Pellets are very popular in the Americas, apparently pushed a lot by vets, so I've been told by the owners of many species of parrots. The rest of the world hasn't taken up this trend to the same extent, and there have been indications that pellets are not a good diet for our desert parrots, containing much too high levels of some micro-nutrients with calcium being one of them. Most are formulated with rainforest parrots in mind. The coloured pellets can react with some birds in much the same way as red lollies can with some children. As Marianne Marlow has said, seed and fresh veggies and herbs, less of the fruit but you don't have to cut it altogether, and lots of exercise. The bigger variety of food you can feed, the better. Don't forget the sprouts - human or bird seed.

I just need to find organic soil :/ I got normal soil and it smelled so chemically that I couldn’t imagine growing anything for my buds using it, so I’m searching for organic soil
