Hi,
Can anyone advise where is the best position in my living room/Dining room for my budgie cage? Can I put it near a window? any suggestions welcome !

its ok in the window as long as no direct sun on the cage....... and no drafts ....this is very important .......no drafts....they can kill your budgie.... but near the window is ok..... as they like to look outside...just put it really .......where its out of drafts and gets some shade....and away from radiators ...i hope others will add things iv forgot....

To add to Micks advice. I'd also make sure it's not too low down as your budgie will be happier and feel safer higher up.
Not on the ceiling, but not below waist height.

Thanks very much, I have decided not to put him near the window now and he is quite high up too..so fingers crossed!! He seems to be settling down a bit now, 2nd night now and he has chirped a few times and moving around his cage a lot more ;D
