You should never leave your budgie unattended on your balcony or in your garden. You never know what is about. This is the sunny outdoor table where I often leave my bird to catch some rays and a bit of Vit D during the day. I always make sure I'm nearby at all times. I've had these birds swooping Boo in his cage, even when I've been sat out there having a coffee with him. I've heard of many birds coming to horrid ends when owners think they are protected in their cage.

Wow, Stace, good point! That bird's beak looks like it could get in between the cage bars and do some real damage.

Too right - we had a hornet around our place last year IT WAS HUGE! Think it might have been a queen it was that big and as for sting, well...they have got to have the worst sting. Would kill a budgie no doubt. So great point Stace, it's a big bad scary world for a budgie out there

It's must be worse in Auz, but good point.
If any ghastly creatures tried to get at my birds I'd run at them with a frying pan!
