Hello everyone My two budgies, 3 plus months old, seems they can't eat fruits and veggies. I have tried offering it as thin slices, julienne, chopped and shredded. They do come and try to eat it but seems they can't actually eat any. It falls off their beaks while they try eating it even if it's soft as grapes without skin. Is it normal? Or I need to mince/ puree the food instead?

Lovely budgies. I'd be thinking that it is more that they aren't sure on the fresh food as food for them, rather than that they can't. Sounds to me like they are tasting the veg, which is a good sign, but have yet to convince themselves that they do actually like it. Probably never been introduced to fresh food as chicks, so no parent bird to show them that it is good to eat. It happens, but because they are mouthing it now, I doubt you will have to wait long before they are eating it properly.

My boys just shred carrot , celery or anything else, whether they eat it is another thing but they enjoy whatever they are doing with it.
