I had read somewhere (not sure where now) that the millet sprays should be rinsed because they have a lot of dust in them and then left out on a paper towel to dry. Does anyone do this? Is it advisable?

I used to steep mine in F10, then put them outside to dry off, but stopped doing this when someone on here said it wasn't necessary.
They really need to dry quickly though as staying damp for long periods could lead to mould.

I've never treated mine in any way. I guess it would depend on where your millet is sourced from.

Most breeders soak it overnight. Not just because of the dust, but the vermin that can wander through the fields where it grows. Definitely make sure it is property dry before storing it to prevent mould.
