My birds' bum doesn't look good & she looks to be in a lot of pain, I'm certain she's dying, but I cannot take her to a vet because I'm not old enough to drive and my parents aren't willing to spend money for a vet. What should I do??

Oh, that's not good. Try giving her vent a bathe with warm water and see how well she cleans up. If your parents won't take her to a vet, ask them to get you a bottle of powdered cayenne pepper. Add a good pinch, or what fits on the end of a teaspoon, into about 50mls of water. Give this to her for drinking water. If she is in pain, this will help to some extent. If her vent seems raw, once you have washed the area apply a little Savlon to the whole general area. This will also help ease any pain from this area. She really does need a vet's attention. It is cruel to allow her to suffer needlessly.

Oh dear, that does look sore. I hope you can convince your parents to take her to the vet. Maybe you can offer to do chores around the house in return?

Thanks for the responses you guys, I appreciate it. My parents were able to remove an egg that seems to have caused the problem, but unfortunately, tonight my Tuki isn't waking up. I'm actually so beat up rn

Removing an egg is not a procedure for an amateur ... if she was egg-bound then it's no wonder she didn't make it. I'm sorry for your loss. Veterinary intervention could possibly have saved her.

I too am sorry for your loss.
But any animal suffering, or in distress, deserves to have veterinary help, I'm sorry your parents don't share these views.
