In case not everyone knows and would like to... at 8pm tonight, go into your front gardens, lean out of windows, stand inside your windows and clap hands for the NHS to show appreciation for all they’re doing. There will be coverage on BBC1

I did it. A few from our street came out too.
What a job these people do, we should cherish them, even more so now.

I wanted to but Eve was in bed, also it would have scared the budgies.
It actually made me feel more scared and anxious to hear the clapping. It reminded me that we're all confined to our houses and how serious things are.

It is hard not to be anxious. Whilst we all know how it is, I still find myself forgetting for a while, then someone says, it’s on tv and I worry again.
It will be nice though for the NHS workers to watch it back and feel appreciated.

Our street was out it wasn't as loud as inner city but it was still very moving!
It just made me think of the solidarity we all felt when there has been so much division x

We heard a bit outside but had to settle for joining in through an open window because my housemate is ill.

All those workers are doing us proud. No matter how scared I and many others feel at the moment their bravery in going to work each day to look after us is remarkable. Thank you to each and every one of you x

All those workers are doing us proud. No matter how scared I and many others feel at the moment their bravery in going to work each day to look after us is remarkable. Thank you to each and every one of you x It's pretty scary being a family member of a key worker too. Not only them going out but what they might bring back. But if everyone follows the distancing rules and they keep their hands clean we should be OK. That's why it's so important that we all stay at home unless we have to work. The key workers can't get sick, we need them.
