I was going to say: If you are looking at two budgies later, I would go for something bigger. But after looking around, it is probably the best of a bad bunch. Such a shame it is so narrow in depth. All I can say, is don't rush into buying a cage that's not suitable or you're not really happy with. Better that a bird (s) spends a little time in a squeezy cage before getting the ideal home, than spending a lifetime in one that's not right.

Remember too, fun1uk, that you will probably will want to have a small cage for transporting, hospital cage etc, so if you need a new cage asap, a smaller cage isn't such a bad way to go, and then take some time to find the right everyday cage for you and your bird.
