Wow Sam, they're great. I used to have a Betta, amazing little fish. You are so talented.

They are lovely, Sam. I really think some feathered friends need to go up as well, though. They will look wonderful on your walls.

they're amazing Sam! going to family tomorrow, and decided they needed brownies... I had to taste. I cannot get a consistent gooey-ness, so edges are more cakey, but middle is gooey. It looks messy as it was still warm, but I did cut a bit out rather than dive in with a spoon mostly bourneville with a bit of chocolate orange

ffiscool if that had been me it would have been straight in with the spoon. If the edges are cakey and the middle gooey it means everyone can get the piece they like (in my house hubby is a lover of crispy edges while I'm all about the goo ). I would just say that you made it that was deliberately to keep everyone happy. samwiseg your artwork is beautiful and the frames complement them perfectly, you are so clever! birdguhl I think we watched the same storm. I've never seen anything like it. I did worry that Willow might have been scared as it was so loud (and at 1am a nearby tree was struck by lightning which sounded like a bomb going off) but he seemed to be OK (determined by listening at the door as didn't want to startle him by going into 'his room' in the middle of the night).

Nothing like a gooey brownie IMO!!! They look perfect ffiscool Thank you for all your comments I particularly like the grey frame for its texture. The blue one i did want more of a navy one but couldn't find one! OK Hezz , just for you

Beautiful Sam, so talented, I love your drawings, I still have one of your mugs. I always think that everything I do is not good enough, my hubby goes mad.

Hmmm ffiscool - why is my mind full of gooey brownie all of a sudden....? Great work, @samwiseg - you really capture the life! Ah - willowsmum - didn't realise you're so local! I'm in East Lothian. Gosh - a tree getting hit by lightning nearby sounds very scary! Well, I'm off to bash some Himalayan balsam now.

Absolutely agree with samwiseg, even the tiger so far is amazing, so intricate suesbird. birdguhl, yes, definitely the same storm as we are close to you. Best of luck with the Himalayan balsam, once that gets a hold it must be pretty hard to get rid of. The seed pods are so explosive, they'll be able to spread seeds far and wide. One positive note is that you can eat the seeds and they're not bad, a bit like little bits of nut if I remember rightly. Might be one way to reduce the spread

suesbird That is one heck of a photographic cross-stitch! My housemate does cross-stitch but I'm not sure she'd attempt one that complicated. Other than occasionally baking a plain looking cake for someone because I can't decorate them at all, all I have is a few digital D&D character doodles.
