Cere color of the males is different according to their mutations.

For example, the cere of the male dark eyed clear does not change normally. All adult male dark eyed clears will have purple ceres, unlike normal mutations where adult males have blue ceres.

But all hens have same cere color (white, brown, tan) regardless of the mutations.
