I typically let the little guys out to fly around right after noon time. This gives me time in the morning to do some cleaning, cooking, gardening without worrying about them. Right now they are staying close to their cage but are gradually flying further away from it. Yesterday, I opened the door for them and Buddy headed out first. He flew toward the kitchen and further away than he's been recently. I was sitting in my chair close to their cage. I think Buddy became a bit disoriented and he started squealing as he flew. He turned and flew towards me and landed on my shoulder. He sat there looking around until he got his bearings and then flew to the top of the cage to play. My heart just went pitty pat!

The world would be a sadder place without these fantastic little birds. Have you come down from your cloud yet tweetiepiesmom 😁

Such a good feeling Willow likes to sit on my finger and be close to my mouth while I talk to him but occasionally, like today, he just likes to sit there and preen. I know I have 'better' things to do than being a human perch but I honestly can't think of any right now

That's lovely that he sees you as a safe place tweetiepiesmom. It's amazing that they can trust us so much when we are so huge compare to them.
