Hello everyone, I just got my new budgie which is a male at approximatlly 10 weeks old. As I picked him up from the breeder he seems pretty normal and aktive, in the transport box he was very relaxed and keept Preening himself and eat, I asked the breeder if his birds could be tame by any manners of means but he ensure not at all, he was in flock of about 30 birds in pretty good size cage/room. in the first day he was very quiet which is expected, he was on the floor of the cage most of the time which makes me worry but I read on the internet that it is normal at the beginning. now it is his 3ed day, he eats good, seems to prefer eatting from the ground way more than from his food dishes...( maybe thats how he eats by the breeder) but he is standing on his birch. my concerns that he is not aktive at all he only moves to eat and gets back or when he flockcalls my other budgies in in the other room. What made me more concerned when I started to tame him, he does not run away from my hand 90% of the time (he runs away when the other budgies flockcall him) he did even step on my hand couple of times and slept on it once, he is letting me petting hem and seems ok with it most of the time. so I dont know if he is sick and dont want to move or he is just sad because he is all of a sudden alone or just natural tamed budgie but he does not know it yet sorry for the long story just wanted to make sure to provide with any info that could help and excuse my bad english any help would be appreciated and thanks in advance

What are his droppings like?
It's very hard to tell with young birds if they are sick, but if you have an avian vet that you can take him to then this will put your mind at rest.

It may be stress from all the newness and he has been moulting as well, or he may be ill. See if he will eat a bit of eggfood, or hard boiled egg. Green poop is not good, can be a sign that he is not eating enough, or stress or both.
