I kept their cages close for a month and they seemed to get along well, singing, showing no signs of aggression,... Is the blue one being aggressive towards the new budgie? Do I need to separate them again?
Edit: the blue one keeps bobbing his head up and down and keeps (what looks like) "beaking" at the other's back, who doesn't seem to like it and suddenly beaks back...

they are both males. I heard females are more aggressive, and I wouldn't want them to hurt each other or worse.

I don't *think* that looks like aggression.. Blue's eyes are pinning and feathers are up in that "fonzi" style .. both are signs of general excitement/arousal as I understand it. Caveat being that anger/aggression is technically a form of excitement/arousal .. but those don't sound like angry sounds, and Green is not really moving away. If he felt particularly threatened he could easily snap back or escape. I would wait for input from someoneone like Hezz or Marianne to be sure though My babies still have black eyes so I don't have much experience with observing the pinning. They do the "fonz" thing alot though and it usually just means they are having fun/showing off.

There is nothing aggressive about "Blue's" behaviour. He is simply being friendly with his green buddy. Give them a while and he may even get to feeding the other bird, if allowed, otherwise it is just one bird being friendly and practising his courtship rituals with his cage-mate. If he didn't have another bird to beak-bop with, he would probably be talking to some part of his cage furniture.

Thank you so much, I’m still learning about budgies behaviors and I’m glad nothing bad is happening!

Looks very like how my two boys behave. It looks like the blue one is trying to feed your little yellow guy.
