This budgie is a hen, a very pretty one Hello Marianne! Thank you very much for your support! Now I know. She has been with me for 3 weeks. I am thinking to bring along a male friend for her but really not sure how this will turn out. I give constant attention every day and let her out of the cage every evening for some exploration time. I am trying to tame her and she already is jumping to my finger whenever I come close. But still I feel that keeping a single budgie is unjust and that after all I would enjoy looking after a couple more so. Once I took mine to a relatives home which had a male gender budgie and they seemed much more 'alive' and 'mindful' for the time they spent together. Like a feeling budgies are not meant to be alone. I would really appreciate some advice and insight into this. Thank you very much.
