Just thought it’d be cool to share some images of my little buddy Tenor.. he’s just really photogenic and he’s very calm, too, when Forte isn’t bothering him. Hanging out today..
Helping? his friend eat
Destroying a puzzle that I totally wasn’t helping work on. (Not my puzzle or book mind you)
Coda being nice to him for once
Hanging out!
Staring
Not sure how they managed this without fighting
The three hanging out when they were somewhat new Tenor likes to hang out with the newer budgie most of the time, so they’re in a lot of recent photos with him. Bonus two photos of the original three (Forte’s violet, Coda’s a teal-green (my friends say she’s? more a blue teal, I think she’s closer to green)) hanging out together without ‘arguing’ for once. That’s all !

Such lovely photos! Esp like the one of three in a feeding dish! And the jigsaw bud!
I see what you mean about him standing on the others. I’m wondering if that is a baby budgie behaviour from being crowded in a nest rather than about mating? He’s so young. He looks like Coda is just a convenient lookout point there!

Of the birds I currently have, he only does it to Alto (Coda and Alto look really similar on my phone's camera, but in reality Coda's a teal colour and Alto's blue? It's odd), and he used to do it to a little buddy we had called Piano. He hasn't stepped on or over Forte or Coda, for whatever reason, but then again they'd probably bite at him if he did. In that photo he was just trying to get into the dish to eat, too, though. And! I really liked the puzzle photo too- I have a few videos of him "helping" my mother do the puzzle and her getting very frustrated because the little guy was just taking apart the pieces she had just gotten put together. He's a real puzzle destroyer, for whatever his reasons are.

Would love to see videos of the ‘helping’! Here you go! Sorry about my laugh, he’d been doing this for a while at this point and I was pretty breathless from already laughing.. way too much at the little guy’s antics. My mother’s the one you can hear unhappy with him for ‘helping.’
