Wow they look fab,my friend Ian b made his own, it's like a drawer that pulls out of an inner box, when he's finished breeding he turns it the other way and it blocks the hole up,super Idea, it.s the old saying, you only get what you pay for.......fantastic set up

The Germans are so good at making stuff. Expensive though.
I stayed in Berlin for a week in a holiday apartment, and I was amazed at how incredibly well constructed and well-insulated it was. The big heavy doors and windows were light as a feather to operate, but closed with a vacuum seal.
You'd never get someone in Australia to make or install something like that. Hard enough to get things plumb.

Stace we are on a bit of a slope and can't get a fencing contractor for love or money. Looking at all the fences marching over mountains in NZ I said to hubby, maybe we need a New Zealander fencing contractor - who said fences can't go up and over. These guys don't even want to try!!

I can't get anyone to replace a 5 metre piece of guttering. I've got water p**sing in over my balcony in a flood every time it rains. It's a three storey terrace, and it seems it's just too hard for the soft lot.
I could tell you a thousand more similar tales.
About a month ago I had to get rid of an old washing machine. Not a huge one. It needed to be lifted over a railing that was 1 metre high. These big burly blokes wouldn't do it, never mind that Marc and I had done it ourselves to get it in. (And I weigh less than 50kg.) Seriously. Grow some, boys.

will they breed better budgies though Gerwyn hi barrie ,i doubt it very much cardboard throw away ones would be just as good ,got to admit though they do look the part ,i had an email of them today the nest boxes work out at £27.40 plus postage. i have given them some sizes for breeding cages they will get back to me tomorrow on a price for them as they make them to your personnal size preferance . i am having a massive rethink on my birds and have decided to get shot of around 20 to 30 of my budgies over the next week or so ,and concentrate on 6 to 8 pairs and keep a few hens as reserves over the breeding season. I want to join the bs for 2012 ,do i have to wait until jan1st or does your annual membership start from the date i join regards gerwynmr2

[/quote] Can't afford a plush boat, Brian, and Perth is about as far away from Cairns as you can get and still be in Australia! Only about 3,500Kms as the crow flies, about 4,500 by road, .
