I thought some of you might enjoy these--the winners of the 11th annual Audubon Society Photo Competition. No budgies, but some breathtakingly beautiful photos of feathered creatures.

The winning photo--stunning and other-worldly-- is below. Many more are at this link. The "Honorable Mention" of the hummingbird piercing a dew drop took my breath away.

Yes I saw this too! What an amazing picture, stunning in fact!

I've always wanted to swim with whales can you imagine that? To feel that tiny against something that huge?

The natural world has me in complete wonder at times
