I don't think my three are arguing, just that one of them decides to move when they're already covered up... Munchy always does if he's on a lower perch but he's used to that as in my grandparents' house in his old cage he would cling to the bars when the cage was moved to the sleeping room and not return to a perch. He just climbs and is fine. Yuki, on the other hand, decides that he wants to move and then just ends up clattering around in the dark.

They do! I ended up picking him up the other morning to look at his cere because it looked like he'd bumped it the night before. Think it was just a seed husk or something though.

My two boys seem settled, but once the cover is on there is often a hullabaloo. I blame Kevin. He can't see Stuey sat anywhere without planking himself beside him or chasing him off. Stuart's his own worst enemy though, he positively panders to Kevin's nonsense.

reenie They do, don't they? Yuki and Indie had a couple of rolling around fights the other week (mainly because Yuki happened to knock Indie off balance) and my housemate said maybe they're starting to become less tolerant of Yuki's nonsense now that he's getting older, and I was like... maybe, but Yuki's winning. Munchy has moved into his own grandfather annex and his overnight droppings are instantly back to normal. He obviously appreciates his own space. OH said Yuki went to talk to him when they were inside their respective cages this morning and Munchy seemed very happy. I think it's nice for Munchy that he's not getting chased by jealous Indie though. OH said Munchy let him scritch his cheeks through the bars and Yuki came over to watch, and then when he offered Yuki his finger Yuki started playing with it. They're out and about now he's done cleaning, though Munchy has decided to go back inside. The other two don't seem to have realised that the cage is open.

This is fantastic news @sillycat84! Is it because Munchy was used to being in his own pad before back when he was with your grandparents? It is all positive by the sounds of things, all good stuff! Love the picture of Grandpa Munchy

samwiseg It might well be. They were all a bit dumb last night about eating the food they'd missed during the day so they all had rubbish poos overnight. Having Munchy in a separate cage also means I can work on offering Indie and Yuki millet inside their cage without Munchy constantly trying to eat it. The daytime tower. I was going to put the fountain on but wanted to give them moultone in their water. I regret the moultone attempt. Alas, I don't think these guys quite understand foraging that isn't just digging around through paper to get their food. And if I put in a tub for that it gets pooped in.

I don't think it is, but it looks like there's a big white cockatoo behind the wooden slats 🤣

reenie Oh good heavens! I don't think I could handle one of those! I think it's OH's dobok for taekwondo, as that's the wardrobe.

@sillycat84 - btw, what is moultone? Does it have to do with moulting?

Morgan It's a supplement for helping them through a moult. I bet of I check the ingredients it's basically the same as the other things I have though. The water was bright yellow. If they were going to be picky then they wouldn't drink that.

@sillycat84 - Ah ok! I just have Guardian Angel and a daily vitamin by the Bird Care Company. I put it on their food, though I think it says it can be used in water. I figure I put enough stuff in their water with the ACV in the evening and aloe in the morning. 😅 Started making them weak chamomile, calendula, echinacea tea also, alternating with the aloe.
The BCC also has something called “feather-up” for molting, but I figured the Guardian Angel would be fine to use for that because the ingredients are the same, just a little bit more of everything in the GA, so I just give half doses if someone’s having a rough molt.

I have Guardian Angel too, so will probably just stick with that. Also have AviPro.

Don't know if you guys are aware but GA is only used over a three day period at a time (as it is a tonic) and you shouldn't give them fresh veggies whilst they're on it, if I remember correctly??

Ah, thank you, Shirls. I was not aware of that. I haven't needed to give it regularly but I will remember that for the future.
