Possibly a grey of some sort. @sillycat84 and yellowfacedviolet would know. She doesn't need the sandpaper at the bottom of the cage, newspaper is better. Also, whoever clipped her wings seems to have gone a bit too far. Hopefully you'll let them grow out so she (I'm guessing she's a hen, but it's hard to tell from the photos as the cere colour is not clear) can fly.

Such a darling little baby! If you'd like help setting up a fun and appropriate cage, just ask! As Marianne Marlow said, she'll be much happier when her wing feathers grow out and she can fly around.

I've never really had experience with this colour. My first inclination was mauve, but not sure if I've ever seen one. I feel like I need a clearer image of the cheek patch colouration. If her cheek patches are grey then she's grey, is about all I know.

I thought maybe mauve too. mot really seen many pictures of mauves though! I've never really had experience with this colour. My first inclination was mauve, but not sure if I've ever seen one. I think she is a mauve rather than a grey. We know photos can lie, but she doesn’t look grey to me.
Bluey was a mauve.

Looks more blue than grey to me. The concensus is mauve, particularly as Hezz has actually seen a mauve budgie in the feather.

Hi, usually tell by the tail feathers, tail feathers in a mauve should be navy blue, greys should be black
