Hi Chinmaychahar, poops can be a great indicator of your birds general health so I'm glad you are taking notice of the changes. Certain foods will cause watery and discoloured poops but really should last no more than a few hours but the colour concerns me from your pic. Has he been fed anything that could cause the discolouration? As far as I knew vets were still open There are some very knowledgable members on here that might come in with more detailed advice but I would be leaning towards getting Olaf seen by a more qualified person.

Same questions here - what has the budgie been eating over the past 24hrs? Anything dyed - toys etc - can affect poop colour if chewed on as well, but if you canβt rule any of these things out then a vet visit is your best option if the poops are still discoloured.
If you canβt get in to see a vet, many have been doing video links or open to having photos emailed to them. A photo of your bird and cage set up may also help us.

Could you let us know where do you reside? Check out this thread for avian vet references at different locations: budgerigarsforum.proboards.com/thread/252/list-avian-vetsI live in India and there's an application for pet vets DrPetsApp & also a telephonic consultation available 24 x 7 based on photos, videos & symptoms from an avian vet (also updated in above thread on the last page for India) Also, if only one of your budgie seems to be ill, they should be separated, to avoid it spreading to other, in case they regurgitate to each other..

I live in India as well. Thanks for the links. Could you identify any issue based on the images?

More experienced members have already commented.. and I'm not knowledgeable enough to comment on that, except that it doesn't look good. It could be anything and a vet would be able to diagnose it better. You could stop all fresh food for a while to check if that's making the difference. Keep him warm using the old yellow incandescent bulbs - outside the cage for a while - make sure that it doesn't get too hot for them and doesn't touch the cage. It gets pretty hot so make sure birdies are inside the cage. If the bird stays near the bulb inside the cage, it needs the warmth. If it moves away, switch off the bulb. Also, since the weather is really hot, take that into account too. Does your seed have any colored components too or did you change their seed mix recently?
I have consulted with Dr. Yuvraj Kaginkar, based in Mumbai & he has helped my birdies recover. He can be contacted over whatsapp and he takes up call too based on availability.
If by chance you stay in Mumbai, you could check out Dr Rita's clinic too - she is the best avian vet in India, but doesn't take remote consultations. The consultation fees is around 500 rs for Dr Yuvraj, unless changed and 200 for DrPetsApp. So, it's pretty cheap too. You shouldn't delay the consultation, since it doesn't take much for a birdie to go downhill. You would have to arrange the medicines too - if required. You could use online services like Pharmeasy to find and order medicines, if you are placed in a state with complete lockdown & that might require time too..
You can find all other details in that thread about poop tests by a lab based in south India, who can take samples via courier.
PS: Also in future, you might want to upgrade their cage to a larger one, where they can at least fly comfortably. That's must for their exercise, mental health, to co exist happily and long life π The current one can be used as a hospital cage instead..

Stopping all fresh food for a short time to see whether this helps your bird is always the first thing to do, but since you have another eating the same food, it means that this is specific problem for your bird. There are too many possibilities for what might be the problem and only a professional with the correct experience will be able to give you any answers.

Thankyou for the help. I will try to get in contact with an avian vet as of now because I saw Olaf overeating and vomiting today. He is also not moving much around the cage and just sleeping on the perch.

That's not a good sign. Please get in touch with a vet asap.

Separate him from his cage-mate in case it is something contagious (the other budgie may already have whatever it is but not being affected), but also to give you sick bird the peace and quiet required to help his recovery. If you have a heat lamp, place this above one end of the cage so that he can get the heat or move out of it if he gets too warm. Donβt put the lamp in the cage or have it touching the cage.
I hope you are able to get help for your hen.
