Tonight, my boy Sky died. There where no signs of illness and he was only about 2 years old. I just heard a thud and he was gone leaving behind his brother. Any advice on how to help Ali (the brother) who is not finger tamed is greatly appreciated. Rest in piece little one, I will miss you.

So sorry about Sky. It is such a shock when they pass so suddenly.
I suggest you keep an eye on Ali to see how he deals with his loss. If after a week or two he seems timid and not opening up to you, you can think about getting a companion for him. He may start bonding with you and you can work with taming him.

I'm so sorry that Sky left you. Such a shock for you. How is Ali behaving? Is he calling for his brother? It's heartbreaking when they really miss their friend. But as Tweetiepiesmom said, the best thing to do is see how he gets on, and provide lots of company for him if you can. When Criswell died Dexter became obsessed with a toy peacock so we decided getting him another budgie friend was the best thing to do.

Fly high, Sky. I know the shock and it’s horrible when they pass with no prior warning. I’m so sorry. I can only suggest spending as much time as you can with Ali and hopefully as said above, he’ll bond with you, and also to bear in mind the 4 week quarantine period should you decide to get a companion for him.

Ali is still eating and drinking fine but I am keeping a close eye on him

I'm so sorry, I know what a shock it is when it happens so quickly. Fly high little one. I hope your other little one is okay, maybe when the time is right you would give a loving home to another little bird to keep him company.
