I got them as a gift from owners who dont want to take care of them! If I am to trust them the green lantern is 8 months old, and the yellow should be 6 months! So you think they are not eating enough? I have them 2 feeders with seed mix in it! I also give them bar from time to time (2-3 days) and bought some vitamins to mix in their food! They are also afraid to come to me or let me near them (except when i have bar in my hand)! They are with me for about a month now maybe more!

In addition to the seeds, you should offer them fresh greens. Herbs, broccoli, carrots are all good to feed them. Look up online "toxic food for budgies" to make sure you are not feeding them bad things. If they've never had fresh food, it may take awhile before they eat it but keep trying. I would not add vitamins to their seeds unless a vet has told you they need it. Too much of the vitamins can be harmful. Most of all, enjoy your little budgies.

Totally biased towards female budgies 🧡 Lovely hens 😍
Just to add, it's still early for them to bond to you. Coming to your hand for treat seems like a good start! They might take their own sweet little time to gain trust. Hang in there!
Also, make sure to keep food bowl free of seed husks daily.. it might cause them to sneeze and digging down a heap of seed husks doesn't look good to me. I don't fill up the seed bowls with too much seed. Also, keep washing the seed bowl daily if possible - I have 2 similar sets of seed bowl (a ton of food bowls for them actually!). If there's poop in the seed, discard it - I use that to grow grass for them. Only seed diet can lead to health issues later. You should try fresh greens as suggested above.
You could also read the pinned threads in the respective section you wish to learn more about their requirements and health.
Happy budgie keeping! 🧡
