The boys enjoying their boiled egg and mung bean sprouts this morning. Talk about spoiled! The other half of the egg was enjoyed by Chester and Lottie…but they still come to see if the Buds want to share a bit more.

Lovely that everyone enjoyed some egg.
Are the budgies scared of the dogs?
Your grey boy looks just like my dearly departed Roswell.

Great video! I can't believe how much my guys love their hard boiled egg - they literally clean their plate.

Lovely that everyone enjoyed some egg. Are the budgies scared of the dogs? Your grey boy looks just like my dearly departed Roswell. The budgies take no notice of the dogs although when barking at the postman, the budgies love to join in! I had birds here before the dogs - hens and budgie - so they’ve never really known any different. Most of the time the dogs only scoot around the cage if there’s something edible been thrown out - Lottie our rescue pug especially loves to eat - and Chester was only stood up on his hind legs because the egg was in there. The dogs are never allowed in when it’s free flight time. That’s just me and the birds. I’ve seen countless videos of birds and dogs and my dogs are so gentle and soft but I’d still never take the risk. You can probably see from the video that the buds basically ignore Chester when he pops up to look. He’s really not a dog but a hairy hooman and he is amazing on his hind legs. Henry my grey is just a funny character. He takes no nonsense and yet loves to hang upside down on a frequent basis. I thought he was going to be more aloof from the flock but he’s pretty much the boss most of the time.

I'm glad they are all comfortable with eachother. Henry and Roswell, separated at birth? - Unlikely as Roswell passed in June 2016 at the age of 6 years and 8 months..

He’s a stunner! The greys just have an aura of gravitas about them. Love the name Roswell. Was he a flock mate to Monty? Yes all the zoo get on great here and the dogs are the same with the tortoises, my daughters guinea pigs and the fish. They have a look but know that’s all. It’s the adult kids that are the hard work!

Yes, Roswell was a flock make to Monty. I first got Monty and Eric, but Eric died after two months. So I got Roswell and snowy from an exhibition breeder that said they weren't fancy enough to show. Then I got Jerry as Roswell felt left out when Monty and snowy became an item
