Another pic for you to choose from samwiseg, in case the last one of Buddy wasn't suitable. Thank you Sam!

I love that the budgie calendar seems to have become a yearly fixture on the forum. I won’t be contributing any pics this year but I will definitely want to buy a copy! you should find your favourite picture of Brodie to go on.. “starrymist I must insist that you submit your pictures of your beloved Brodie! I did say all birds that have been with us can be a part of the calendar All budgies are welcome “ In 1 way I’d like to but it feels a bit too raw just yet & I’m not sure how I’d feel about it. But it’s kind that you both said that!

Given that budgies past & present are welcome, I thought I might suggest this wonderful photo a friend took of the Magical Marshie:

That's super rose! That of course is your perogative starrymist we just want you to know that if you wanted to submit one he would be most welcome. Just to let you all know as well, I should be able to let you know the price of the calendar soon as I am currently negotiating a good deal! More updates to follow, will keep you posted.

Like everyone else, I realize I take most of my pics in portrait mode. Its amazing that when I turn the camera sideways to get a landscape pic, they freak out! Here are a couple I got yesterday. I'm not sure if they are suitable. The second may be more suitable because there is more space at the top. I'll keep trying to get something cute. Tweetie Pie and Buddy, notice the glorious pinnies on Buddy's head!

I love the typical budgie-confronting-millet expressions of unalloyed greed

This is not cropped but was a portrait photo I’ve switched to landscape. Is it suitable for the specifications? Made me realise I take so many photos in portrait of the buds. It’s of Louie and Luca as fluffy babies. ❤️ Am sorry Ariella, but sadly I cant get this one to work in the calendar. Do you have another or are you able to take another one? Sorry for the inconvenience!

It seems wrong to have suggested a picture of the late great Marshie without also suggesting one which also includes the late great Ian:
