Isn't it amazing how a year has nearly gone already?!
And if you are still wanting one then we can start creating our own calendar for 2022!
Just wanted to advise member's of the things you need to consider before submitting your pictures for conisderation.
Your pictures must ideally be:
1. Landscape 2. Not rezised (so in orignal size when taken) 3. Of good quality (not fuzzy or blurry) unless you have a budgie in the background and a clear budgie in the foreground
Good example:
Clear ✓ Landscape ✓ Original Size ✓
Bad Example:
Clear X Landscape X Original Size X
4. Multiple budgies are welcome, including aviaries (but they still must be clear shots) 5. Only 1 photo per member will be chosen (unless not enough members contribute to the 12 months) and it will be put to a vote 6. You can enter up to 3 pictures but only 1 will be chosen (name(s) with each picture please) 7. Old or new photos welcome and past budgies are also accepted 8. Sorry but only long standing members can contribute
Closing date for entries is approximately END OF OCTOBER 2020 (this is to allow for overseas postage)
Will be getting a slim calendar this year (at the request of members)
Usually the price of the calendar is approximatly (including postage) in the region of £10.00GBP, costs to other countries may be higher for postage. (If you PM me I can get a quote.) Will confirm final details here of how much they will be.
So have fun! Get those cameras out (there is plenty of time) and we look forward to getting your lovely pictures!
Thanks
Sam

Thank you samwiseg! I have so enjoyed my calendar this year. Tweetie Pie and Buddy, get ready for the camera constantly being in your face!

I didn't get around to buying one last year. Maybe I should get one this year for the budgie specific bits!
Wish I still had my one from 2020. It was so nice.

I'd love to have a calendar and contribute some photos if that is ok?
I've had a look back at my pictures and come to the following conclusions:
Finlay was the cutest baby budgie on the face of the planet but has grown up into a right scruff bag. Barney has got more handsome with age. It's almost impossible to get three budgies to look at the camera at the same time. I take nearly all of my budgie photos in portrait 🤣
I have some pictures taken in portrait that are high Res and would crop well to fit a landscape slot. Would these possibly be ok? Also I tend to have to shrink photos to add them to the forum. I could email a high Res version if one was chosen? Would that ok?
