Hey Budgie Owners, I have a trouble to share! One of my budgie, Disco is having all white and little off white poop from more than 3-4 days. The diet of him contains seeds, vegetables like carrot, beetroot and capcicum. His behaviour is also a little changed, feels sleepy in day. Sice there are no vets available in my city I am posting here for help. Please help me with this. Let me know if you need an extra information for helping. Thanks!

I just did a Google search and this is what I found:-
"If the budgie's poop is completely white with no dark portion it may not be processing the food it is eating properly".
Are there no Avian vets outwith your area that you could travel to?
Could you maybe post a picture of your bird.

What does he eat? Is he playful, chirpy? When we bought him he was silent since 3 months, now he has started chirping and playing. Earlier his previous owner didn't fed him well and wasn't cheerful at all. Now he has started chirping

I remember reading that all white popcorn looking poop could be due to a pancreatic or digestive problem. I’d try to get him to a vet if you can even though you may have to travel a bit

But Disco's poop is like that from more than 1 month since we brought him

It certainly isn’t normal and a problem with the pancreas is what I have heard, also. Have not experienced it myself, though.
A low fat, high protein diet with plenty of antioxidants can be helpful. You may want to look at changing his seed content to low fat, add more vegetables, and a liver supplement such as milk thistle may help him as well. This is a budgie who might benefit from adding pellets to his diet.

Also I consulted an online vet, since there were no nearby vets available. The vet suggested me to give multivitamin syurp in the water for 7 days and antibiotics and liver syrup. I really hope Disco gets well soon. I am supper worried about him. I hope this medicines works on him. Also thank you so much for helping me out. I would update on his health here. I have ordered milk thesle seeds from one of my friends suggestions whose name is Monica. She is helping me too. The only question that haunts me is will he be okay by taking 1 week medicine? Sorry if I sound stupid! But thanks alot for helping!

That's me. Everyone knows me by my nickname over here - mona.
She is the one who fostered the 3 rescues for a while, before sending them off with me. But, her birdies and mine weren't together from the same flock and were quarantined separately.
The vet is the same vet who consults over whatsapp. I didn't know the exact issue for her birdie and asked her to ask over here for reliable information and guidance.. I can't trust the vets over here somehow, after breezie and greenie..
I had been searching for milk thistle for budgies since long time. I couldn't get a non alcoholic one suited for budgies, when I was suggested to look for it for Breezie. I have managed to get organic milk thistle seeds and I'm wondering if it would help? They won't eat the seeds right away for sure and would the seeds help the same as the supplement everyone has been recommending or do the supplements have additional ingredients as well?
We bought it for breezie initially, but we might want to use it for mom's budgie Yeli..
Weirdly, I also saw one of snowy/bluey's poop as the one similar to her bird's, but for just a day.. then it went back to normal.. I have been wondering that they are too young to have such medical issues, unless genetic.. I would want to keep a check on this thread and take preventive measures, if that could happen to one of mine..

Milk thistle seeds are really hard, and not easy to crack and get the seed out yourself. Believe me, I tried with my first budgie. Another thing that can be helpful is wheatgrass, you can grow this yourself. mona, not sure if I’ve mentioned this before … I just remembered that it was something I tried around the same time as the milk thistle seeds. If you have a decent health food store, or pharmacy with a good range of health food supplements, you may be able to find some useable milk thistle in amongst the human supplements. If you aren’t able to import Nature’s answer which we know is alcohol free, maybe ask the on-line vet if you can use one that is intended for humans.
