No longer needs to be bribed with millet to come out of the cage. He's getting much braver about using an arm to get where he's going.

What a brave bunch! I'm a little jealous!
Blithe is the only one that would hop on my arm to come out, and 9 times out of 10 he'll bite me and then fly off!!

Good budgies! My two come out at lunch time and get their sprouts. I've trained them to get on my arm for a taxi ride to the sprouts. It took Tweetie Pie a few days to get the routine which meant that he flew out the cage, right to the sprouts and then I'd take him off the dish, he'd fly back to the cage and I'd hold out my arm. He's got the routine now but always lets Buddy go first. If I'm late getting them out, they are so anxious to get the sprouts that I may only get a touch and go.

What a brave bunch! I'm a little jealous! Blithe is the only one that would hop on my arm to come out, and 9 times out of 10 he'll bite me and then fly off!! What a cheeky sausage, Blithe! I'm fortunate that they copy Munchy, Marianne. Indie and Yuki try to fly past us sometimes too. Pippin will fly past to get back into the cage. What a good boy … well they all are, but well done, Pippin. They are, but you're right. Pippin's the one who makes us smile and feel proud about such things, because he's been so shy and skittish that we don't expect anything of him. So anything is amazing. Although he did pluck up the courage the other night to land in my beans on toast! 🤣 I couldn't be mad! It was so funny and so brave of him.

That's a super video. It's very cute how Pippin had to get as close as he could via perches so he only needed a quick hop on your arm.

Right into the middle of the pool beans! It's because Munchy was approaching via the table. That's a super video. It's very cute how Pippin had to get as close as he could via perches so he only needed a quick hop on your arm. He always takes the same route around them too!

Such good budgies, they’re just adorable to watch. Well done Pippin and for landing in your mummy’s beans!

He's getting much faster at coming out now. Sometimes he'll even be second if he's on the perch to the left of the door.
Meanwhile, today he jumped onto OH's hand to investigate the phone during playtime.
(Of course... this may partly be because OH forgot to give them pellets at lunch time...)
