Never heard of it and I am unsure what exactly they are offering for £15 a year and also who they are?

I think it’s the one I joined via Facebook. They have an avian vet on there who gives advice, a blog I think and access to breeders etc.

This one costs £15 a year I think. I'd be very wary of it cos I have no idea who is running it. I think it’s the one I joined via Facebook. They have an avian vet on there who gives advice, a blog I think and access to breeders etc.

It is once a year. The guy who advise, is a vet and he gave me a list of avian vets I could try, when Max was smelling of fish. The surgery we went to, had one of his recommendations, who was v good and avian.
I totally agree about being wary, but I figured at the time, it was useful. As couldn’t find a definitive list of avians. Also Bailey’s breeder is on there.

I wanted to give an update on this club. When I 1st posted, it was only a couple of months old & it has really developed this year.
They have lots of video courses on the website, 3 private Facebook groups & regular Facebook lives, including one every month with an avian vet; anyone can ask a question. The avian vet (as well as some other very experienced budgie owners) is also available via posts in the Facebook groups. A lot of members are breeders but there are quite a few people with just 1 or 2 pet birds.
They also have a 12.5% discount on everything from Haiths & 2 seed mixes from Haiths that are exclusive to members. I’ve just ordered 1 of the mixes to try with Sunny.
I wasn’t sure if it would be worth joining but I’m so glad I did. I’ve learnt such a lot & everyone is very friendly. Sunny has some health challenges & I have received a lot of advice from them. I honestly believe he is doing as well as he possibly can be, in large part due to their help.

I joined when I got Max. There’s a vet online called Kevin. But yes, I found them good. Funnily enough they emailed me to see if I was renewing as I’d not been on there in ages

The UKBC Budgie mix is £5:50 for 1kg, £7:99 for 2kg.
The UKBC Genesis mix is £5:95 for 1kg, £8:75 for 2kg.
There’s also a discount with Fab Finches though I’ve not used them.
