So sorry to hear you’re in hospital ffiscool. I’d be the same, worrying about Max and desperate to get out.
Hope your oxygen levels pick up soon and they can get you in for the CT scan. Hospitals aren’t the healthiest of places to be at the best of times and the air con isn’t going to help matters.
Glad you’ve got an appetite - that must be a good sign. Sending you all my very best and that it is just an infection or perhaps long covid and nothing to do with Max.

They’ve said def something to do with covid and pneumonitis, which was the issue re Bailey. There’s no way here of knowing which has gone what. I’ve mentioned Max and the nurse speaking to the respiratory doc.

I’m staying tonight but I’ve said even if midnight can I go home or early tmrw. They need to sort drugs and already had steroids just now, which should kick in

I am just now catching up with this ffiscool! Thank you Marianne Marlow for changing the title. I glanced at the list of new postings before going to bed last night and thought from the title that the thread was the normal New Year greetings.

Sending tons of healing wishes your way. Hope you get home any minute now with a treatment that is effective. Max is such a delightful little guy I know how you must miss being with him and how you worry for him. Hoping the two of you have many more happy years and times together.

I’ve only just seen this, what a way to start the new year. I’m sorry things are so stressful ffiscool, both healthwise & with Max. They are resilient little things though & hopefully he’ll be fine, just a bit miffed.

I’ve been moved to a big ward, was in a side room. All I can say is no way I’ll sleep tonight as loads of really unwell people and loud. They’ll try weaning the oxygen now I’m on steroids. I’ve said I’m going home tmrw regardless.

They still haven’t given me anti biotics. It’s madness. The sooner they sort it, the sooner they get a bed back.

But I can’t get better without them.

Sorry I am beyond fed up, as anyone sleep deprived will know

I hate he’s on his own again.

Make sure you drink plenty of water as being dehydrated also will raise your blood pressure.

I am - plus had lunch. Also they had oxygen wrong way. Now my sats better, on lower amount plus obv steroids
