I don't have a rhyme as such but I do seem to find myself saying every night "Okay budgies its bedtime, sleepytime, shush, night night!" Along with lots of "Oi Lola don't push Milo off the perch! Oh dear poor Milo (as he ends up on the bottom of the cage lol) Oh and a common one is "now now children stop squabbling" Non budgie people must think we are all crackers lmao!

I say the same thing each time I leave the flat.... At the front door I say...... Bye bye my beautiful darlings, see you later.... love you very much.... & Raspy-Bella too... Silly really, as they can't hear me near the front door anyway.

I always say night night my little darlings!! and in the morning when I first go in (the sitting room) I say good morning about half a dozen times, sometimes Sid cheeps as if in reply but Mischief usually just looks at me to say 'what time is this? (even when it's not that early or that late!!) Not forgetting the dog too....come on now Wendy...bedtime!! and up she comes to the bedroom and her bed Daft lot we are.

Silly really, as they can't hear me near the front door anyway. Monts used to say goodbye to me in her own way....if I said goodbye when I went out the flat or if I went into another room she would give a low "weeowee". When I told my bloke the first time it happened he didn't believe me! But he was put straight when we both went out! Silly really isn't it?!

about 10ish, when my two, tom and gerry hear music at the end of a tv program. tommy tells me its time for bed, and he wont stop until i get his cover. gerry then jumps on his swing, talks for 20 mins, then stops, after a while starts on at me to turn tv off and go to bed.

We don't have a rhyme.....more of a discussion....they have free flight most days when we are home and they tend to go to their cage on their own.....however when "blankie" comes out the fun starts.....
I tell them night night....and Aidan has a few words for me and tends to pick his spot and stays put....Madam on the other hand is always after Ollie's spot....she likes to be near him at bedtime but when the blankie goes on....all we hear is Ollie yelling at Bede...."Stop touching me"....it is like two small children in the back seat of the car...."She's touching me".....after about 5 minutes they all settle down and go to sleep....every so often though I have to put my head under the blankie and Madam and I have words....and then I get these sad little eyes and a face that seems to say...."But I love my Ollie".....but she moves....but when I wake them up in the morning she has moved back over to Ollie....
