I have nets up and all fine.. but put the nets up in the lounge once Max had moved. Yesterday, I noticed that the plastic trim for the window had pulled away from the wall a bit on one side. Obviously it was not done properly when I had new trim done, but only showed up now as had not had nets up at that window before.
I have managed to put them up with another hole in the plastic and had to buy some glue to stick the trim back.
But.. has anyone ever used the tension rods for net curtains? There seem to be mixed opinions on Amazon, but looking at a proper curtain site, where I got the nets, they seem ok... just thought before I spend more money, would like to see if anyone has used them before..

Many years ago, I used tension rods for a while. I found them *unpredictable* over time.
I use hooks and wire for nets now. Particularly as Chocobo occasionally gets it into her head that she is going to climb up the nets. Not a favourite activity of mine.

lol, I bet.. Max did that in the spare room when I was working, but more of a nibble than a climb as I tied them up when he was out
I will see if the new holes hold..
will def replace the trim as I cannot get behind it well enough, to glue.. so just gluing the outside edge is not enough.. it is fine for now. just spent too much on having some new hinges on some of the double glazed windows and handles, as they were not all locking ones.
