Had to rescue Chocobo from the Sheet Used As A Night-time Cover Monster.
Had to rescue the CD collection from the Chocobo Monster.
When I got back from putting the CDs back up in the loft, I was greeted by Chocobo, crying her heart out and holding up her hurt foot. She was soaking wet and I can only conclude that her cold bath aggravated her poorly puddy. (I cannot think of a way to give her a warm bath at the moment.)
I've been ageing at a rate of a year per day over the past two days.

Sorry if I misunderstood but why can't you give her a warm bath? I could offer a warm bath to her but nothing I could do would persuade her to get in while it was still warm. She does her own thing, when she wants. |

Chocobo helped me pack up the CDs today and she helped me un-pack the books and stow them in the bookcases. She then got a little annoyed that Dad sealed the bookcases up behind the duvet covers, like last time. At least, I have gotten my bedrooms back from the piles of books stowed from the decorating. That was a long time ago now! To register her displeasure at the withdrawal of the CDs (which she was throwing on the floor and breaking) and the hiding of the books (which she loves to shred), she started working on Daddy's next heart-attack: 1drv.ms/v/s!AnyoyWilEZ_Xh6gHJAh-jWdNFHTpJw?e=fwRDEUThere's no way she will fit through the gap she is working at plus the cabinets are too tough even for her determined beak to destroy. |

I walked in on Eeyore, Herman & Chocobo just now on a perch together. Chocobo was demanding *cough* attention and Herman was preening her wing. Eeyore just watched.
It was a lovely moment which I felt awkward intruding upon.
It is absolutely non-stop today.

As I suspected from recent weighings and her behaviour, Chocobo is on another laying session. An egg arrived the day before yesterday and another one last night. She's not really incubating this batch with any real interest but she is spending some time on the nest. It's a puzzle how this batch didn't follow on immediately as a continuation of last month's batch. It seems to me that this new session is rather early or rather late.
Chocobo is a puzzle!
