At Hezz's suggestion, I'm introducing you to my beautiful babies.
Drift
Spangle cinnamon violet hen
Splash
Cobalt cock
They're both pet type and 5 this year. Splash is partially tame, he'll step up in the cage and can be let out for small periods, Drift is never going to be tame. I keep trying, but they're in a huge ferplast cage that she can flap around to get away. I had once hoped to breed them, and tried it too. But while Splash was keen enough, Drift would have none of it. So that knocked that plan on the head.
Other than that? Splash is a dear, my happy little sweetheart that sings to his hearts content, Drift is bossy, bolshie and beautiful, and I wouldn't trade them for the world. I'm not sure if that picture shows it, but Drift has a lazy wing (or so I call it) and both are looking a little ruffled because my room is a little chilly at the moment with the heating off.
I bought them both together from a breeder in my area, they hate their greens and refuse to bath, and they're perfect ;D
