After being in my aviary for 5/10 minutes, and then coming out, I can sort of taste the air in the aviary, I was just wondering if anyone out there finds it better to wear a mask when feeding, changing water etc. in the aviary, I don't want to end up with breathing problems later on. As I said, I am only in there about 10 mins. maximum, twice a day.

There are people who have developed respiratory problems from being around birds. If you can feel/smell the difference, it is prudent to wear a mask while in the aviary.

Birds have a very sensitive respiratory system and makes me wonder how the air quality in the aviary is affecting the budgies if its effecting humans?
