I forgot to mention our female budgie likes to fight or wrestle sometimes. When she is in a mood for that, then she comes to me in the sofa and start to gentle chew on my fingers while her tail feathers are spread out and ready to get rough Then i pretend she is stronger than me and i let her think she won Its a gentle fight where she chew softly on my fingers and tumle around on the sofa. When she is done then she chirps and shakes herself. Do any of ur birds also do this ?

Mr Hibs likes to put me in my place by "biting" my fingers and nose. I say biting but it's not even a nip (except occasionally he misjudges on the nose - ouch!). 😁

Yes the nose !! When we got her and was taming her, then she was biting my nose and lips where it was bleeding sometimes. Just cuz i tryed to kiss her belly Now im allowed to kiss her belly and beak. But sometimes she still bites me right under the nose where the thin skin is located..and that hurts so much my eyes starts to tears :s and then she says a growling sound like i deserved that. But i still love her after that

I love my Mr Hibs even when he's bitey 😊 Please be very cautious about kissing your bird - human saliva contains germs that are bad news for parrots. For safety sake I never kiss mine and I draw away if Mr Hibs decides he wants to bite my lips.

I love all my budgies, each budgie has their uniqueness. I find it very cute how Jessie "my female budgie" is always watching me when I'm doing something like sweeping the floor or when I'm working on a computer or something shes always watching me looking curious. She has become quite sociable which is quite ironic because its normally the males that are the sociable budgies. Jessie has been responding very well to training along with my male budgie Tweety. Mango my other budgie is the more nervous one but I like the way he chirps in the mornings and sings on his perch.
