Been trying to get mine again to eat eggfood again to no avail, done various combos for the last few months
1 boiled egg inc white and yolk, grated carrot .... nope
2 egg yolk brown rice ... nope
3 dry egg food .... nope
4 moist dry eggfood ... nope
5 anything green veg or fruity ... nope
They just refuse all of the above , was hoping this year to try and breed them just can't see how any babies can start to feed on seeds.
Bless them lol

What about the shells, themselves? Will they try that mixed with some favourite veg?

Have you tried sprinkling a little millet on each food to get them to try it?

Marianne,, that is what I have to do with Charlie…..I sprinkle a tiny bit of red millet and bury it a bit in the dry egg food. He has to root around to find it so I know he gets some egg food plus he enjoys the game….
