Today we went to a small town at a budgie breeder to pick up this littel fellow. We dont know if its a male or female yet but it sure is littel. It was very expensive, but he spends alot of time with his birds
and makes em handtame so they are not scared of hands and humans. Thats why I allready could have it on my finger from day 1. Its from april. So not even 4 month old.
Picture is a bit blurry, but its hard to take picture of something so littel with alot of energy
So far the name Viggo is given.
And it allready seems comfy at our home.
Viggo is very attached to our 1-2 year old Piphans female budgie and goes where ever she goes. They did a littel bit of biting to each other at first, but we took care of that by telling em NO! and to be sweet. So they endet up sleeping next to each other on the playground and did a littel bit of kissing here in the evening.
You cant see it but it has a bit of yellow feathers in the face cuz its father had a yellow head and blue body Viggo allready kissed me on my nose and dosent bite...yet or we dont hope it will

Absolutely gorgeous and doesn’t look too little to me…Love the name. The breeder should know the sex, my guess would be female. How old is he/ she?

Usualy our green female Piphans likes to preen me around my eyes. Today Viggo the blue baby also wanted to join in on that since it mimics everything what piphans does It was hurting a bit since viggo dosent know how to be gentle with human flesh So Viggo was just chewing away on me, but i pretendet it was good haha Cuz its a baby still.

Male and female birds both look identical down there so it wouldn't help anyway.

Viggo the baby dosent like to be in its cage... Its only 3 month old and have been at us for 3 days. So its not much to say about that. But it jumps around in the cage unresting and wants out after we put it inside for night night sleepy time in the evening. After it has ben out for a whole day.
I guess its being use to be in a bigger birdhouse at the breeder. I hope it will calm down soon and find a good resting/sleeping spot in the cage.
