Good morning/afternoon/evening all, I hope you can help me find a good play gym thingy for my two boys. I have looked on Natural Bird Co but couldn't find one and doing the usual google search have found that 'Trixie' ones seem popular however I would like to hear of any recommendations you lovely lot could give me. Also not being the best at making things I would love one that came already set up, don;t ask for much do I lol.

Thanks Marianne I will check it out. Right now they are mutilating some parsley stalks as apparently the leaves are not good enough for them to eat !

Sorry, can’t help as I’ve made my own, but I do understand that The Natural Bird Product Co, Karen and Darren, are very good at making bespoke budgie “furniture”, and even if you don’t really know what you want, they will improvise and make you up something to the size you want.

Did they not use the ladder and swing on the gym you gave the link to Marianne?

Penguins on wheels?
Why did I never think of that?

No, Iris just chucks it on the floor. Did they not use the ladder and swing on the gym you gave the link to Marianne?

This is really useful, I'd like to get something like this for Georgie. I'm hoping to use it to encourage her to fly to a different point in the room. She lacks confidence and at the moment will only fly from my hand back to her cage.

Thank you all for your help, I am waiting for the swing to arrive from the Natural Bird Company and I will then email Karen to ask about a play gym/wreck what ever is on there/oooo that looks good to throw on the floor and stare at thingy. Yes the stalks are obviously much nicer that the leaves, I did wonder of it was because it was the flat parsley so will get some curly and see of that is better. I haven't tried the Mint yet but will do soon. I have finally got a skewer for food so can give them a lump of carrot, broccoli and red pepper -the pointed one 'cos I prefer those myself , shredded carrot was not popular today so I will try batons and see how that goes. Off to do an on line tour with Heygo in Luxor. Byeeee

Seeding grasses, sweet corn, carrot and snow peas are the stand out favourites in my budgie house.

Having minty-fresh birbs flying past you after they've been at the mint plant is a real pleasure 😁 Broccoli, sweet corn, kale, apple and sugar snaps are the current favourite skewer food. Favourite herb plants are mint, thyme, rosemary and basil. Coriander was in fashion but not so much now - I'm glad of that as twice now, Squeak the hen has gotten herself tied up in the stalks and required rescuing. Edit: salad cress! Almost forgot. I buy a couple pots of salad cress, all the birbs love it!
