I sprouted Organic Mixed Pulses for the boys, but instead of feeding the sprouts I decided to put them into some compost and see what happened. This is what I got. So, I wondered if these would be OK to give to them as a mix of greens instead of sprouted seeds 🤔

I would think it would be fine for them. After all, the greens are just more mature sprouts! Let us know how they like it.

Aww, that looks rather yummy, jellybean. You’ve given me ideas, there. I will have to have a retry with sprouting as our new house has an altogether different climate even though we are less than half an hour away, and growing the whole plant I feel is something I can do. But after their fiasco with the wheat, I bet this meets with the same reaction. Good luck!!

I have become a big fan of sprouting and growing wheat grass. Maybe its because it is so satisfying seeing them eat what I make for them with such gusto!
