my budgie limeon has some chronic fld over the years (mostly my fault) i want to better it.
the vets here are great for cats and dogs but for birds not much. most dont even treat birds and those who do are not that good. ive tried sourcing some milk thistle extract and couldnt find any but found this capsule called 'silybin 140' its got 140 mg of the main active ingredient in milk thistle so i think this will do it.
by my calculation, a drop of extract has 0.03g silybin and the recommended dose for starting with budgies is a drop whole. a pill has 0.140g silybin so 0.14/0.03 = 0.4666... of the pill. ill give him one fourth everyday i guess. is this correct?
