I love this - so many budgies! Dinku looks like he'll settle right in I'm glad it's going well. And I'm jealous of all your greens.

ffiscool, he's been playing with Max. I think they're about the same age.

It looks like he's settling in really well. He looks just like my Bobby, maybe a little brighter shade of green. It's great when you see these youngsters fly round.

It's funny. I was convinced he was the same colour as dearly departed Jerry, but he looks nothing like him. Photo from the old days: Snowy, Sky, Monty, Custard1, Roswell, Jerry

He is pretty calm so far actually yes. He's sticking with the greens mostly. Budgies do have a colour preference, it's so odd! Love it! He's a calm little guy checking things out while the others are looking him over. I always think it's a safety thing. Individuals are harder to pick out when they're in a group that looks the same.

Jerry a dark green vs Dinku a light green? I'd been looking everywhere for a light green normal when I was broody.

Yes, I think you're right about their colours Jerry a dark green vs Dinku a light green? I'd been looking everywhere for a light green normal when I was broody.

I'm glad he's getting on well with his new friends. He must feel so happy to have budgie company again.
