So my father has befriended a robin in his garden, and the robin will land on his hand or even follow him into the garage for food. As it was so cold yesterday, my Dad went outside wearing a hat. The robin immediately flew over to him, but then instantly flew off into a nearby bush. This happened a second time, and my Dad said perhaps it was because he was wearing a hat. I had to smile then, because I remembered how Georgie used to be a bit unsure of me when I had a towel wrapped around my wet hair. It doesn't bother her now, so I think she has worked out that it's still me! Honestly, they never cease to amaze me!

I bet the hat was what put them off. Silver used to land on my head to stop me leaving the room without him. On occasion I had to employ a really large, scary bobble hat to allow me to escape.

With me, it's my specs. If I'm not wearing my specs, I'm no one they want to know.
