Hello,
I have three beloved budgies who are all currently unwell, displaying symptoms such as sneezing, runny stools, and vomiting, they vomit multiple times a day... One of my budgies, who happens to be the only male, is causing me the most concern as he was the first to fall ill. He is exhibiting worrisome behavior such as spreading his wings out and shaking them. Additionally, he feels a little hotter to the touch than the other two.(the other two are of normal temperature) I have taken all three birds to both the emergency and avian vets, and they have been given fluids and antibiotics to put in their water. (Orbax) I even did a droppings test at the vets' suggestion, but it has been five days and I have not yet received any results. I am incredibly worried for my feathered friends and have been providing them with Pedialyte, as recommended by other budgie owners, in addition to their antibiotics and fluids. While they still have hearty appetites and are playful at times, they have moments where they stop and vomit, shake, and sit still. Every time I reach out to the emergency or avian vets, they advise me to continue with the antibiotics and fluids and wait for the results. Despite their reassurances, I feel helpless and anxious, and I am desperate for any advice, any other at home remedies I can do maybe a similar experience if you've had any, or even just words of encouragement as I try to help my little guys...

I'm sorry you have not had a response yet. I did read your message yesterday and was not sure what to say.
I can only suggest that you contact your vet and ask what the results of the tests were and keep pushing for that.
I hope your budgies pick up soon and recover.

I'm not sure what I can add to what Marianne said. Whatever they have must be very contagious since all three have it. Have you noticed if they vomit after eating a particular food? For now, any fresh food you give them should be very fresh and clean. Remove it after a couple hours. Regularly clean their perches and toys so they don't keep re-infecting themselves. Do you have F10 disinfectant to clean with? I previously got some on Amazon.

It would be wrong to suggest other forms of “treatment” with the birds already being under the care of certified vets and part-way through a course of antibiotics. Anything else may interfere with, and reduce the efficiency of the prescribed treatment.
If you have concerns, talk to the vet or seek another’s profession advice.
