Oh yes, this is an excellent game that can develop to flying straight at your face and swerving at the last minute (or on occasion crashing into it and landing on your nose or glasses...) It's like a game of chicken, who ducks first, you or them 😂 Oh, yes; they love people they can scare into ducking. After all they are the higher being.

One of my budgies I had years ago would land on the arms of my glasses, have you ever tried to read with a budgie on your glasses ? Oh and if I was reading and not paying attention then he would land on the top of the book and refuse to let me turn a page, and don’t ask me about trying to knit with a budgie on the needle ! Bless him, he had a couple of homes before he came to me and he was lovely….except if you tried to touch him then he bit like a tiger !

It's been 5 weeks now, and she just started hopping onto my finger for treats today not going to lie I teared up a little bit! So grateful for everyone's help getting her settled.

She is lovely. Ahh, the power of the millet, even wins over a stubborn hen. Now you can start reducing the size of the millet you offer until you are down to a bobble which will be much better for her waistline.
