If these directions are not on the bottle, perhaps consider contacting the Birdcare Company directly.

I replace the water every day. I currently use a range of supplements over the course of a week, including ACV, AviPro, iodine and Zolcal F (not all of them all at once!)

Thanks Loz, I change the water daily and wash the dish each time, they have both had a drink this morning and were not impressed with the taste of it but at least they have drunk some. Sam did proper poops last night but Ollie’s are very slightly watery so I think they may be starting another moult. They have both been their normal selves otherwise just a little sleepy at times. I’ll put another dose in tomorrow and see how it goes from there, meanwhile I will ring the manufacturer to check on leaving it in the cage over night.

I've left GA in the water overnight on the occasions I've used it but I'll be interested to read what the manufacturer says.

Ok, so you can leave it in the cage over night and they do recommend you changed the water regularly through out the day to stop any bugs growing as after gets warmer bugs may ‘grow’. She said the best way is to make up a jug of the mix and keep it in the fridge for between 2 to 3 days which is a great idea because it saves me trying to measure out 150ml each time. Very helpful lady.

Just to add Sam is out of the cage and Ollie is considering his options, much to Sam’s annoyance !

Handsome boys, the grey could be Eeyore's twin! They both look like exhibition budgies, is that the case? If so, they are likely to be less active than "standard" budgies. My Eeyore likes a sit-down and for things to be calm, and Hector is almost 100% perch-potato, only venturing out once a day for a limited time. Hector likes a quiet corner, of the cage or the floor, where there are fewer budgies around! Hector: Eeyore:

Sorry, every time I move from this page my iPad logs me out ! The breeder I got them from does exhibit his birds so that would explain their handsomeness(if that’s a word) My two have fits of loud activity, usually chasing each other round the cage and naturally near to bed time being loud and squawky. When they are out of the cage they are still at the stage of if one takes off the other panics and does the same. Bit like jets doing an unexpected fly past…. From two different angles. Your boys are lovely. As I typed that Ollie just took off and landed by me and then onto the floor…cos that’s always a ‘good’ place to end up. At least they cool me down when they fly ! They are now discussing their flying techniques, meanwhile I am going into the kitchen to have a ciggie from the kitchen window, I gave up last year when I got the boys but stress from a new neighbour and other stuff happening in the building drove me to start again…that’s my excuse anyway. I always smoke from and open window and never in the flat.

Your boys sound busy! Eeyore is fairly active, he flies to the kitchen regularly and to the various high perching points in the lounge but he isn't my busiest budgie by a long shout.
I hope you manage to kick the cigs again. No good for you and proximity to the budgets is no good for them as you can still be expelling toxins for a short time after you finish a cigarette. Not a nag, or not meant as one, just an encouragement!

They have made it very clear what they think of me lighting up though. I really want them to have perches round the room and a window one if they don’t try and knock themselves out on the window, mostly it’s been a very slight wing clip..brush ?…and then they about turn so I am working on my anxiety re them having those things. A work in progress ! All my anxiety when something happens to them is based on loosing one many years ago at the age of two, I swore I would never get one again and then 10 years alter I get two !

I leave Guardian Angel in water overnight, and replace when I change the water each morning.
