Have you seen the price of peppers? 80p for one. I will have to take out a second mortgage just to add one a week to a stir fry. I love 'em but the hubby doesn't, so he doesn't feel my pain at not being able to afford them!  Evil prices of the humble pepperAdd your "how much?!" stores here.. |

peppers are about 50p but the cucumbers are £1 each and they are not that big !!!

Pringles in my local asda were £2.48 a pipe a couple of weeks ago!!
and McVities Jaffa cakes are always over a quid a box!

I'm shocked they're charging pure cheek in some places for a box for free range eggs. 2.99-3.50 in some shops here for half a dozen! The bumbusters my hens lay I sell for a quid a box! :/
