Aah now i see I wish we had a bird room, so im trying to make my mothers appartment in to a bird room bit by bit. until she starts to complain and says she also lives there Lol 😂 Marianne Marlow shares a small apartment with two other humans, plus the birds; no spare room for a bird room there. Sorry M, I just couldn’t resist replying.

Yup, Hezz is right, it's a 1 bedroom flat and the birds are in my living room, somehow we manage to co-exist

Perry Rhodan is feeding Squeak, good lad. His technique needs work though, I think he overloaded Squeak's little mouth. She shook her head and a gungey seed hit me.
I'm always grateful when they involve me.

Babybird has this trick when she go to sleep in her swing. Then she climps the cage bars and leaps toward the swing so it swing her back and forth while she prepares for sleep. She does this few times before its time to sleep. Then we say goodnight and she reply with a littel fainth chirp. Im sure she also says goodnight

Chocobo is upstairs with Coco and I. If I talk to Coco for too long, I get Chocobo calling to me. If I talk to Chocobo too long, I get Coco calling to me.

I had the frying pan in use just now, searing a pork chop. Chocobo clearly thought that fried eggs were on the way again and started pestering me. I've been forced to hand-feed her sweetcorn to calm her down

This keeping mummy company while she is at work is tiring stuff. Time for a little lie down.

Most of our birds are loudly chirping in the bird room. This seems to be the routine for mornings. They chirp loudly, almost shrieking, and fly and hop around while I change their food and water. Maybe they are not "morning people"?
(Do "morning people" exist? I only hear people say that they are "NOT a morning person"!)

Morning people definitely DO exist. I happily put my hand 🖐️ up to being one. Anything serious I need to have done by lunch; the later it gets, the less astute I am.
The birds: the budgies start chirping away as soon as it begins to get light; Loki gets a cover (budgies don’t) and won’t make a sound until either he hears me moving around or he needs to do his morning poop. He prefers to be out of his cage for that.

I have again angered the budgies by sprinkling *pellets* in the Forage Gym.

I'm definitely not a morning person but then I wake up feeling awful, always with a headache and various aches and pains. Moan over The budgies were shouting for me to get them up as we have a lay in on weekends and get up at 8am. Of course each cage wants me to open their first but I can't do so until I have set everything up, bowls and play areas on tops of cages and curtains open. Some very impatient birds this morning, thinking if they climb up and down the inside of the cage they will find a secret exit that I have left open and can be the first one out!
