Yes she just landet on it and gave it a littel kick to gain thottle on the zoomie flight

But sometimes she carries these small coloured wood balls and once she carried the plastic ball with holes in it XD

It looks like she isent aware of it when she flies away with stuff.

Hedwig has had so much fun playing on the floor with his balls, sometimes i am unsure how to word that phrase lol, eating spinach by them, doing little zoomie flying around the floor. And it actually quite amazing how fast they can run he has being doing plenty of that and then like a funny marching type walk holding himself up high like look at me! Normally he will be settled down in his cage for the night but i am letting him be free abit longer tonight as we had a few jobs to do after work and school today, he has taken himself off to his cage for some food and drink, had a good play with his toys his there while chatting away to himself. I could watch him for hours just seeing him happily play with his toys, now he is back out having a fly around, just landed on his cage having a pull at the metal attachments to his toys can’t remember the name of them lol, while chatting away. Unbelievable how much joy he had brought into our lives. He seems so happy which i truly hope he is

Thank you, we sure have been blessed with such a delightful little one but then again i am sure we all have. He and my daughter are peas in a pod, as soon as i open a packet of crisps no matter where they both are in the room both come darting over trying to get some lol. Its been amazing reading, looking and watching other peoples posts in here of their budgies and the experience and advice of members is amazing 😀

It must be fun to watch Hedwig play with his balls! Our birds bring so much joy to our lives, and I think Budgies are very underrated. I've even met other bird owners who act like Budgies are not "serious" birds.

Our birds also like spinach, and kale, peas, carrots, and corn.

This afternoon just me and Hedwig, have some toys on the floor for him, some Kale 🥬 which he is loving, anyhow i thought i would just have a sit on the couch, but cheeky boy has other ideas, he kept land on the light on the wall which i am not keen on him being on..which i am sure he knows this, everytime i brought him back to the floor he would go back to the light, as soon as i sit on the floor with him he hasnt moved from the floor…how do your budgies boss you about without even realising at first! 😆

Our Babybird does exactly the same with toiletrolls and balls on top

One of the balls has these holes like ur blue and white ball.Then i put some of her lost feathers inside it.

Then she comes down on the floor instant and tilts over the rolls.

Eva is on the the sky snake furiously flapping her wings. This set the snake rotating.
She then turned around and flapped again, sending the snake in the other direction.

Sprite (Sun Conure) has been climbing all over Kona and Pepper's cage (Cockatiels) whenever she can. She wants to chew on a certain toy of theirs, through the cage bars. It's one of the toys I made, so it has exactly the same parts that are in some of her own toys! I had trouble putting her back in her cage about an hour ago.

I saw Topaz and Basil standing on the roll of paper towels that someone keeps knocking over. I've seen them there about two dozen times now, observing the area. Good birds! I will catch the culprit(s) someday! Thankfully Topaz and Basil are always at the scene.

My budgies are currently having a shouting match with the tv. They always win.

Yesterday afternoon a pigeon landed on the balcony and stared in at the budgies, while they stared back.
