I knew that Willow would be the first bird to inspect the entire "hanging" perch. I can expect Basil and Topaz to follow. Kona briefly landed on it last week, but he disliked the movement and immediately took off. I used a spare toy clip to attach the other end to a corner of Sprite's cage. Untether it! Half the fun (for the humans) is watching budgies slowly spinning around, watching the view change without expending any effort

It is always an enjoyable read seeing what your budgies are upto, Hedwig has been giving us some funny head bobbles lately he is enjoying spending time with us on our shoulders and arms, on the floor with his balls, definitely need more variety of things for him to play with down there, taking himself off to his cage for food, water a play with his toys in there Then letting himself back out, tonight he decided not to leave my shoulder and seems he wanted to investigate where Harper went, so he hitched a ride to the bathroom lol, his bedtime tonight chatting away to himself for a long time, i have stayed up later tonight and he is still chatting away, making me want to uncover him and let him out it went on that long. Lately he is making new noises and some seem crazy, funny. He seems to have settled now and finally getting his sleep

Misfit enjoyed sitting on the cage floor with it and chewing. I am going to buy more. You can probably find them on a UK-based website.

You can try buy one of these mini skateboards or mini rc cars and see if he will chase it or chase some millet tied to the car. Today i just bought a mini fake laptop with a mirror on it since Babybird have a thing for the remote controle. So we sill use that to trick her.
Or cut out some plastick straws and throw around him to pick up

I'm dying Herman & Finrod were up on the kitchen cupboards. I said Hello to them and Finrod disappeared, with Gurgeh popping up instantly the other side of Herman. As I started to laugh at this, Finarfin and Finrod popped up together next to Gurgeh. I've not seen a good game of Pop-Up Budgie for a little while and this one was a doozy Here they are after the game had ended

Willow preening my hair Thunder and Misfit. I think they would make a lovely pair. They are both quiet, mild-mannered types, most of the time. Misfit will not be pushed away from millet/other treats.

Always good to have a bird on the head. Thunder and misfit would make a very pretty couple!

I need to finish cleaning the cages but I have a snoozing Chocobo and about a dozen napping/snuggling/cuddling budgies ... so I'll wait.

Did you ever manage to clean the cages or was there always a bird napping in them?
